Ester oil filter machines are specialised oil filtration systems that are designed to filter ester-based fluids, which are used as an alternative to mineral oil in some transformers. Ester fluids have high moisture-absorbing properties and a higher viscosity than mineral oil, which makes it difficult to remove moisture from them. Ester oil filter machines are needed as most conventional moisture removal methods are inefficient at removing the high moisture content from esther fluids. Ester oil filter machines filter the high moisture content of the oil, apart from other impurities. Ester oil filter machines come with special cartridges, two stages of filtration, and a high vacuum level function to remove moisture, gases, and particles from ester fluids. Ester oil filter machines can also remove acids from the oil by using ion-exchange resin.
